Planning Board Fails Again

Is it just us or does every proposed Zoning Bylaw change seem to require a Special Permit from the Planning Board?

No one wants to give the Planning Board sweeping powers over their business or their real estate. It’s just not going to happen. The town is too small and right or wrong people think that the Board will abuse that kind of power.

Note to Planning Board: Look into a PR consultant. Presentation is everything.

State law governs which Special Permits the Planning Board administers. All the articles passed over at that Special Town Meeting would not have given the Planning Board any new special permits to administer.

Yes, presentation is everything!
